The Rocky Mountain Conference Historical Society/Commission on Archives and History will honor persons observing the 50-, 40-, 25- and 20-year anniversaries of their ordination as Elder/Deacon/Consecration and Admitted into Full Conference Membership. Click here to see a listing of anniversary announcements and to learn how to get your information listed during annual conference.


All clergy are invited to robe and wear a red stole for the ordination service on Sunday, June 14. Please gather outside the north patio of the auditorium ready to process at 8:20 a.m.

The Annual Conference Worship Team is looking for volunteers to pot flowers for the worship space. This would involve planting them into new pots. Plan to be dirty and using soil. If you are free and available on Thursday morning, June 11, please contact Rev. Eric Strader at

Tellers are needed for the 2015 Annual Conference session in June. The tellers assist with distributing and collecting ballots, as well as counting. Tellers will have assigned seating along the aisles in the main hall. If interested, email the Rev. Les Huseby at or call at 719-425-7407.


For the third year in a row, the United Methodist Committee on Relief and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are partnering in a common humanitarian effort by transporting much needed relief supplies to UMCOR West. Using Latter-day Saints-owned Deseret Transportation trucks, all relief supply materials collected at the Rocky Mountain Annual Conference will be palletized and loaded for transport on Friday, June 12. This is a great way to save money on shipping supplies to UMCOR West in Salt Lake City as well as celebrate the ongoing and growing relationship shared between the UMC and the LDS Church. Crossroads Urban Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, is collecting new socks and underwear during the 2015 Annual Conference session. They will give those to families in need in the Salt Lake City area. Learn more about it by clicking here.

The United Methodist Church’s top legislative body will meet at the Oregon Convention Center, the largest convention center in the Pacific Northwest, on May 10 to 20, 2016.
