The Mountain Sky United Methodist Foundation

From an attitude of abundant blessings, we believe that everything we have comes from God and belongs to God.  We are responsible for caring for these financial blessings in such a way that they multiply in value through financial gain, and provide fuel for ministry that furthers the mission of The United Methodist Church.

The Foundation is in mission to secure financial cornerstones for God’s churches through preserving the generosity of faithful givers who came before, and by helping create legacy gifts for those living today. While providing financial tools and investment services, the Foundation seeks to develop, fulfill, and financially sustain ministry throughout the Mountain Sky Conference of The United Methodist Church.

The Center for Pastoral Effectiveness

The Center for Pastoral Effectiveness has been working with over 1000 participants for 20 years in addressing the most vital leadership issues of the church.

In all institutions, especially the church, it’s the least motivated and most dependent who tie everyone up in knots and want to call the shots.   It’s like some force that is perverting the good intentions of the system and its leaders.  That’s because the church is an emotional system and not a technical one.  When pandemics occur, whether in the world, or churches, or even individually, anxiety goes up and requires leaders who understand and appreciate that emotional system and are not undone by it.  Described by Center Alumni as “the most valuable continuing education experience,” this is where the Center process comes in.

  • Clergy: Sign up for the next Center starting this fall.
  • SPR Committees: Reward your pastor with a Center experience.

Mountain Sky Queer Clergy Caucus

We’re the Mountain Sky Queer Clergy Caucus.  We exist to be a dynamic support system for Queer clergy and laity in the Mountain Sky Conference. We are called to serve, and to lead. We are called to journey with each other as we make disciples of Jesus Christ and be transformed by God’s grace. This year, especially, we give thanks for the saints who have gone before us—the black trans women, the queer outcasts who marched and shouted until they were heard.  So, we educate, we advocate, we learn, and we grow by God’s grace for a more whole world, together…won’t you join us?  Email us at mtnskyqcc@gmail.com for more information.  Find us on Facebook: https://fb.me/msqccandfriends
