Churches have found a way to engage their community through offering a daycare/preschool center in their church facilities. We are currently updating our database of preschools/daycares. If you would like to add UMC-based preschool/daycare in your area, please email communications@mtnskyumc.org.

Blackfeet United Methodist Parish (BUMP) Christmas Shoe Boxes: Get a shoe box (or a box about that size). Decide whether you want to buy for a boy or girl, and decide on an age range (infant, toddler, 4-6 yrs, 7-8 yrs, 9-10 yrs, 11-12 yrs, teen). The suggested value of the box is about $10 per box. Ideas include: toys, school supplies, clothing, hats, gloves, perfume, flashlights, ear buds, diapers, lotion, fleece blankets, etc. Place in the box and wrap the box. Tape a note on top indicating male or female and the age range appropriate. They need all boxes NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 1. Bring or send to: P.O. Box 3007, Browning 59417. If you are dropping packages off at the church, please call ahead (406) 338-3900.
Children's Christmas Shop: Buffalo UMC: The Children’s Christmas Shop is an ecumenical project in Buffalo, WY. The shop invites all children under 11 to “shop” for their loved ones. Gifts are collected all year and on two Saturdays in December, children swarm the Wesleyan Church to shop for gifts which are all free and wrapped at the shop. The Methodist Church is responsible for wrapping supplies and providing wrappers for the two Saturdays. Contact: (307) 684-5845 fumcbuffalo@gmail.com
Puppet shows are a way to engage the congregation – adults and children, to support the morning message, and they are an alternative to a children's sermon. With good scripts, you can be doing this with no rehearsal, instantly adding storytelling and some holy hilarity to your services.
