Hilltop UMC Mission:
To be an inclusive community of hospitality, healing and hope, leading hearts to Christ. See full Mission Statement
Hilltop UMC was established in Bingham Junction (later known as Midvale) in 1901. By 1978 the congregation had outgrown the church and, after meeting in various temporary locations, what is now the Fellowship Hall at 985 E 10600 S in Sandy served as a place of worship from 1983-1990. The current Sanctuary was dedicated in June 1990. Hilltop is blessed to have been led by many faithful and dedicated ministers and lay clergy, and is known for its local and global mission work, its outreach across denominations, its strong music program, and warm hospitality.
