Nursery Attendant

Applicants must be available to work on Sunday mornings, 9:00-11:30am.
They must be willing to work with the nursery coordinator to cover possible child care needs at other times during the week.
They must have CPR/first aid certification, or willingness to obtain, and pass a background check.
Experience with children, especially infants and toddlers, is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Offer and provide for the emotional, physical and social needs of young children during the time they are in the church nursery

• Interact with the children and encourage their involvement in play activities.

• Prepare and maintain a warm, safe environment that is orderly, clean and appealing.

• Establish and maintain good communication with parents and families.

• Follow all Safe Sanctuary policies and procedures as they relate to caring for young children.
