Worship Leader Trinity UMC Denver

Trinity UMC is a vibrant and diverse downtown congregation in the heart of Denver, Colorado. Trinity is looking for a creative worship leader to provide and coordinate music for our 9:00am worship service. This service has an eclectic, singer/songwriter style where both worship music and secular music are welcome. For example, some of our recent services have included songs by Johnny Cash, Mariah Carey, as well as traditional United Methodist Hymns. The worship leader would work with other local singer songwriters in the Denver area to provide music for the service. In addition, one of the musical selections from the 9am service is also featured in the 11am worship service. So the worship leader and/or other musicians would need to be present at the 11am service as well. 

Position Title: Worship Leader

Position Type: Hourly

Skills: Coordinate, lead, and perform both sacred and secular music for worship

Expected Hours: 6-8 hours per week, including 2-4 hours on Sunday morning 

Worship Service Attendance Required: Yes

Pay Range: $18.29-$25 per hour, depending upon relevant experience
