Audio Video Coordinator - Heart of Longmont UMC, Longmont, CO

The Heart of Longmont United Methodist Church is seeking an individual to video church services and edit for streaming on our YouTube channel.  The Audio Video coordinator will coordinate with volunteers, the minister, music groups, and other church groups to record audio and visual content.  This requires communication, scheduling, flexibility, close attention to detail, and technical capabilities suitable for the job requirements.

The position has flexible hours at the present time, however, once church resumes in-person availability on Sunday mornings will be required.  The position will require 10 hours per week to video sermons and music and edit the content.

Knowledge in using Hearing Assist, Media Shout, live streaming, YouTube, Sling Studio, the sound system, microphones, light board, and video editing software literacy is requisite.

Responsibilities include the ability to communicate and direct a group of volunteers, sound reinforcement during live worship services, hearing assist for hard of hearing, playback of video and music, provide visual support for services, lighting for speakers and performers, and content editing for worship services and special church events.
