Camp Food Service & Housekeeping Manager - Buckhorn Camp, Colorado

We take pride in accommodating guests and campers of all ages and abilities with excellent food, taking care of those with allergies and special dietary needs. Groups are served three meals per day, buffet style. 

  • Radiate Christian hospitality to all 
  • Oversee Food Service operation, managing staff and volunteers in a caring and professional manner 
  • Oversee the inventory and ordering of food, equipment, and supplies in line with camp budget 
  • Maintain a sanitary, and safe environment for food handling, storage and serving 
  • Clean and maintain all food-service areas including kitchen and dining hall 
  • Plan appropriate quantities of nutritious and healthy meals appropriate to guest & camper groups 
  • Maintain inventory of food and supplies 

Must love kids & desire to live and work in a Christian atmosphere. Bring your commercial food service & housekeeping experience, your leadership skills, your spirit of service, your passion for cleanliness and quality, and fun-loving attitude. 
  • Minimum 21 years of age 
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing 
  • Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards 
  • Ability to enforce safety regulations and execute appropriate emergency procedures 
  • Physical and emotional ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid. Must be able to assist others in an emergency (fire, evacuation, illness, injury, etc.) 
  • Ability to safely and properly use kitchen equipment 
  • Physical fitness for prolonged standing, bending, stooping, walking 
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate equipment 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
  • Ability to function during extended exposure to heat 
  • Mental health to maintain composure and professionalism under stress 

Pay is negotiable and includes lodging and meals. Range $400/week
