Director of Children and Family Ministries - Longs Peak United Methodist Church, Longmont, Colorado

Longs Peak United Methodist Church (LPUMC) in Longmont, CO is looking for a self-directed and organized individual to fill the role of Director of Children and Family Ministries. Definition: Under the direction of the Lead Pastor, the Director of Children and Family Ministries is responsible for the coordination of education and activities/programming for children from birth through grade school.
 
Principal Duties: The Director of Children and Family Ministries oversees the planning, direction, training and implementation of the educational program for the children of the church.
 
Working Environment: Work is generally performed in a standard office environment. Occasional lifting may exceed 30 pounds, routinely lifting up to 15 pounds. Position requires multi-tasking, frequent interruptions, persuasive discussions and a non-traditional work schedule, including weekends and some evenings.
 
Qualifications: To succeed in this position, the candidate must possess a desire to provide quality Christian education to children of all ages. Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are required.
