Director of Children and Youth Ministries - Belong Church, Denver, CO

The duties of this role are to:
Oversee children and youth (infant through high school) religious education, fellowship/community,  and childcare options for families at Belong Church.

This shall include
Coordinating volunteer and paid nursery workers on Sunday mornings. 
Choosing and implementing curriculum for pre-k through 6th grade students.
Find and maintain a volunteer base to support the needs of Belong Kids. This includes 
seeking new volunteers
Ensure volunteer background checks and training on necessary materials and procedures
maintaining a schedule for existing volunteers
Ensure volunteers have timely access to curriculum
Support volunteers and children through regular participation as a teacher/leader in classrooms.
Maintain connection and communication with families at Belong through regular emails and personal outreach. 
In collaboration with pastors, develop Be(Youth) program for middle school and high school students. This is a new program that was launched in Fall 2019, and has tremendous opportunity for growth in the coming years.
