Director of Finance and Administration - Parker UMC, Parker, Colorado

The Parker United Methodist Church is a growing and viable congregation on the south east side of the broader Denver metro area.   Our congregation has deep roots in the Parker community and is located in the middle of one of the fastest growing areas of the state.
 
We are looking for a full time ministry oriented person who would serve as a member of our core staff team.  The Director of Finance and Administration works directly with the pastoral ministry staff to provide for core communications in the areas of finance, budget, facility, scheduling, and oversight of administrative personnel.  The Director of Finance and Administration relates directly to the Senior Pastor and works closely with the Finance Committee, the Board of Trustees and serves as a central resource to the broader congregational networks.  The person in this key position also oversees the work of the church Treasurer, the Financial Secretary, the Stewardship Team and the office staff.
 
 The position calls for expertise and commitment in the following areas:
 

1. An understanding of the work and mission of the Church that is expressed through a personal faith in Jesus Christ.
2. The ability to provide support for the accomplishment of the mission and vision of the church.
3. Experience with non-profit finance that includes budget building and management.
4. A commitment to providing quality communications and support for the various administrative systems within the church.
5. The capacity to demonstrate flexibility in working with volunteer systems and structures.
6. An understanding of computer based systems and software that is foundational to the mission of the congregation

Salary Range (depending on experience):  $45,000 to $50,000 to start
