The Director of Leadership Development and Accountability is responsible for the creation and coordination of resources, trainings, and ministries addressing the full inclusion of women in the life of The United Methodist Church (UMC) and the coordination of collecting and reporting of data to The UMC of any inequities found in the structure and systems of The UMC. The successful candidate will be a team player who enjoys working with a passionate group of mission-minded people. Candidate must have a creative mind and skills at adapting projects and ministries to meet changing needs and challenges of The UMC. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for dealing effectively and courteously with a diverse group of people, and written and oral communication skills are crucial. Knowledge of The United Methodist Church is required, and personal involvement at various levels of the church is preferred. The ability to be flexible and prioritize projects while managing multiple projects/priorities is a must.
