The Parker United Methodist Church (www.parkerumc.org) is a growing faith community located in Douglas County, Colorado.  The Town of Parker is one of the fastest growing regions in the state and in the nation.   The church is located on the south suburban edge of the Denver metropolitan area.  The congregation is experiencing growth in worship attendance and in missional spirit. 
 
We are seeking a full time discipleship oriented / missional leader who will assume ministry responsibility for our children’s ministry and their families.  This position would place you as a key member of our pastoral ministry team.  If you are committed in your faith, called to serve through the church, love children, and are motivated by the opportunity to develop a team of ministry volunteers…we would invite you to apply.
 
A bachelor’s degree or stronger is required along with strong leadership, organizational, and relationship skills.  Three years of congregational children’s ministry experience is required.  Salary is flexible (32,000 to 40,000) depending on experience and education.
