Early Childhood Christian Preschool Director - St. Luke's UMC, Highlands Ranch, Colorado

St. Luke's UMC is looking for a caring and energetic leader to join our church staff. This is a full time position as Director of a large Christian preschool, with a daily attendance of 150 students and a dynamic staff of 33 teachers, working with children ages 2.5 to almost 6 years of age. Candidates must meet or exceed the Colorado Dept. of Human Services qualification for a director of a large center. Experience in Early Childhood education is preferred, with administrative knowledge and the ability to supervise and partner with a highly educated teaching staff. The candidate will work full-time as part of the Children’s ministry team and attend church staff meetings and special events. Ideal candidates show stability in past employment, are reliable, patient, organized, and are looking to share God's love with young hearts and minds.

Required Education:

Associate College Degree or BA in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, Child Development Associate Degree (CDA) or combined qualifications. Must meet Director qualifications for the State of Colorado.

Required Experience:

Working knowledge of administrative duties and supervising teaching staff, as well as experience working with children and families in a Christian preschool setting.
