Intern Position - Heart of Longmont UMC, Longmont, CO

Position
Heart of Longmont United Methodist Church is seeking an intern who will be involved in the visitation of friends and members, attending some of the administrative team meetings, leading of worship with occasional preaching as schedule allows.  This can be a good experience for someone who may be thinking of entering ministry, or for a layperson who wishes to use their gifts in the service of a church. 

Compensation and benefits
The compensation for this position is $700.00/month 10 hour workweek.Travel allowance and/or housing assistance also considered.

We are a mid-sized Reconciling church with one worship service on Sundays.  
Heart of Longmont UMC is the oldest Protestant church in Longmont, Colorado.
