Arvada United Methodist Church is seeking a Kitchen Coordinator (12-15 hours/week) to provide leadership in the church's fellowship life by taking care of the 3 kitchens and hosting events for the church and broader community.

Requirements include a pleasant demeanor suited for hospitality, experience in food preparation and safety, the ability to lift 20 pounds and stand for long periods of time, and strong organizational and communication skills. Hours include 6:30 am -- 12:30 pm each Sunday for the purpose of providing refreshments after the Sunday worship services, and availability mid-week for purchasing and organizing supplies, tending to the kitchens, and hosting occasional receptions during the day.

Compensation is $12/hour with additional $100 flat fee for receptions, averaging 1-2/month, usually requiring 4 hours.
