Organist/Collaborative Pianist - Broomfield UMC, Broomfield, Colorado

Job Description:

• Position requires 10-12 hours per week, including services, rehearsals, practice and preparation (four Sundays off per year)
• Organ/piano duties for two Sunday services (8:00 & 11:05am) year round
• Collaborative Pianist for choir(s) including Wednesday rehearsals (6:30-9:30pm) and Sunday morning warm-ups and services late-August through early-June including holiday services in which the choir(s) participate
• Organ/piano duties for all additional holiday/Feast Day services including Christmas Eve, Holy Week, and an annual Christmas Cantata (early December)
• Collaborative Pianist duties also include coordinating and leading rehearsal times (Wednesday evenings & Sunday mornings between services) with solo/chamber groups that participate in the traditional worship services
• Weekly coordination/communication with the Associate Director of Worship Arts
• Opportunities for organ/piano duties at weddings and funerals for additional remuneration above and beyond position's annual salary
