Part-time Organist/Accompanist - First UMC, Greeley, CO

First United Methodist Church in Greeley, CO is opening a search to find a new organist/accompanist. We are looking for someone that is able to commit to 6 to 8 hours a week to the music ministry of First UMC, Greeley, CO. These hours are mainly used for rehearsals and worship services.

The ideal candidate would:

• Have the ability to sight-read hymns, perform prelude, postlude, and pre-roll weekly for services, accompany choir, soloists, and instrumentalists.
• Be able to attend all required rehearsals, services, and have some scheduling flexibility during the busier liturgical seasons, such as, Advent and Lent, as well as during the present Covid-19 pandemic.
• Be able to work well with others and take direction well.

As the church organist, you would be first choice to play for funerals, weddings, and any extra events facilitated by the church.
