Lay Servant Spring Courses
April 7, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., April 8 1-4 p.m.
Early Bird Tuition (March 24) for all courses is $40, which includes course materials and lunch on Saturday. After March 24, tuition will be $45.
is the foundation for all courses in the Lay Servant Ministries. It is informative for anyone who is or seeks to be a leader in his or her church and community. Participants are encouraged to discover and employ personal and spiritual gifts as God intended and to consider the importance of exercising servant leadership, developing future leaders, remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices and being a part of a group that holds members accountable in their discipleship.

“Singing a New Song”
A Workshop Exploring: The United Methodist Hymnal, The Faith We Sing and Worship and Song. Songs of faith are woven throughout our worship, our study, our fellowship, and our lives. This workshop suggests a path to set our UM musical resources free!
•Facilitated by Pastor Randy Short. Retired Methodist Pastor with a Music major and a passion for music.
Prayer is something we learn; it is something that can be taught. This course is designed to guide you to a deeper understanding of prayer. It will, at the very least, present you with an opportunity to grow in the discipline of leading public prayer.
