Nancy Flint and Sally McConnell will be leading a United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM) team to the Texas coast to do Hurricane Harvey recovery work. They're looking for 10 more team members. All skill levels are welcome! Work will be tailored to the skills of the team members. They led a team in April 2018 and had a great experience. A willingness to work, learn, and listen with love to those affected by the hurricane are all that's needed.

When: February 24 - March 2 (for those flying, probably flying in Feb. 23)
Where: Port Aransas / Rockport area of Texas coast
Cost: approx. $450 - this may vary one way or the other as the team is put together. This includes all meals, hotel in San Antonio, transportation in Texas and $75 for materials for the work site. Plus, transportation to Texas.
Type of work: repairing homes damaged by hurricane Harvey. Work will be tailored to the skills of the team members. May include: sheet rocking, mudding, taping, painting, installing flooring, siding, insulating, etc.
