Rev. Deborah Christine is the Superintendent of the Montana East District of the Mountain Sky Conference. She felt the call to ordained ministry as a second career, after spending many years as an art teacher in Tucson, Arizona. While serving as a teacher, she was heavily involved in her local United Methodist Church. Before becoming a District Superintendent, she served churches in rural Colorado and Montana. She sees her ministry as an opportunity to help others see God as inclusive, welcoming, loving and committed to others, and uses art and creativity as a way to accomplish this goal. Rev. Christine received her Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses at her family ranch in Tucson. She has two children, Matt and Kate.
