MSC Circuits: Find where you plug in

October 27, 2021
MSC Clergy and Laity Circuits have long served to provide opportunities for lay and clergy leaders of local congregations to meet regularly with colleagues for worship, faith development, spiritual formation, mutual support, accountability, peer learning, resource sharing, mission strategy, and experimental collaboration.

Following conversations with clergy and lay leaders involved in our circuits, we discovered that MSC Circuits were not meeting the needs of everyone. Together, we’ve come up with a way to rewire our circuits that aims to increase joy, foster connection, and generate trust among clergy and laity throughout the MSC.

The Circuit Rewire will allow clergy and laity to choose their own adventure from the topics they explore, how they gather, and even how the circuit is led. At each Annual Conference, there will be an open and closed circuit period that will allow participants to unplug from their current circuit and plug into a new one, if they so desire.

Circuit topics vary, from Marvel & Theology, MOTH-odist Hours, First UMC Clergy Leaders, Life Together groups, and more!
