NextGen & Inclusiveness Ministries, the Racial Justice Ministries and Movement Task Force of the MSC, and Iliff School of Theology invite you to learn about the direct connections between white supremacy, transantagonism, and religious violence in this 1.5 hour session led by the co-Directors of the Black Trans Prayer Book, Lady Dane Figueroa Edidi and J Mase III.
Who is this for:
1. Individuals interested in acquiring knowledge that connects racial justice to trans liberation.
2. Black/Brown/Indigenous folks invested in healing from religious trauma.
3. Folks interested in holding faith institutions accountable for the ways they perpetuate anti-Trans violence.
4. Folks that want to be in better solidarity with Black Trans & Non-Binary folks.
This event will take place Thursday, May 19th @ 6:30pm-8:00pm MDT via Zoom. The event is FREE to attend.
