Joe Duke-Rosati “Hellraiser” Award given to First UMC of SLC

First UMC of SLC opened its doors at the corner of 2^nd East & 2^nd South in downtown Salt Lake City on 32 of the coldest nights this last winter to provide a safe and loving environment where guests can stay warm and watch movies.  We hosted up to 85 of our unsheltered neighbors on each of those nights.  Over 400 volunteers assisted in this life saving effort.  Congratulations!
 
The 2^nd & 2^nd Coalition is a collaboration of grassroot organizations, community leaders, faith leaders and volunteers, including Unsheltered Utah, OURS – Our Unsheltered Relatives, Salt Lake City Air Protectors and First United Methodist Church (FUMC) of SLC.
