A fresh expression is a form of church for our changing culture, established primarily for the benefit of people who are not yet members of any church. Fresh Expressions are inclusive, accessible, transfigurative, and connectional. They are found in coffee shops, tattoo parlors, homes, parks, online spaces, on mountain trails, and more. They are typically outside of a church building, laity led, and incur little to no cost for an existing church.
