2021 VBS at Brentwood UMC, CO

September 16, 2021
“I do not want to miss Vacation Bible School,” were the words of my 11-year-old in the Summer of 2019 as we were making plans to travel to Texas. “I have never missed VBS in my life and this is going to be my last year as a student.” He said. In my mind I thought, you can attend VBS next year. And everything is going to be fine. What I did not know is that COVID-19 was going to close our church building and everything was going to be cancelled for the Summer of 2020. COVID-19 has taught to fully enjoy every celebration we have. There is no way I can return the Summer of 2019 to my son but thank God we were able to have VBS at Pan de Vida at Brentwood in 2021. I was a little bit concerned, thinking that not many children were going to show up under the current circumstances. However, we had 25 children registered and more than 20 attended every day.

Me dijo.
