From Friday, Feb. 28 through Sunday, March 1, clergy of color throughout our Mountain Sky Conference gathered in Colorado Springs, Colorado for worship, rest, renewal, mutual support, and visioning. We laughed and cried together, we sung in many different languages, and enjoyed food inspired by different traditions.

As one of our clergy mentioned,

Our Conference has not been this diverse or have as many clergy of color as we do now.

What a celebration! With the many joys, we were able to lift up, we also recognized the unique and deep pains that clergy of color experience. We believe that as we continue to hear one another's stories and commit to working together, with God's help, our Conference will live not only into what it means to be diverse, but inclusive. What a gift that when we are able to journey with one another, we can be transformed.

Praise God!
