Cross-Racial/Cross-Cultural (CR/CC) Ministries can be a witness to God’s love and grace. They are filled with opportunities for celebrations and transformation, but they come with unique and important considerations and intentional work. In hopes of continual mutual learning, practicing, equipping, and holding space for accountability, laity in CR/CC Ministries are encouraged to participate in quarterly zoom meetings scheduled for the last Thursday of the month from 6-7 pm MT. Our first one will be on Thursday, July 29th. Please register HERE to receive the Zoom link.
There will be workshops throughout the year for CR/CC Ministries. We encourage pastors, SPRC chair/representative, lay leader, church council chair/rep, and representatives from the congregation to attend these gatherings.
Our upcoming workshop will be on “Navigating Conflict”. A virtual gathering will be on Saturday, August 28th from 9 to 10 am MT. Conflict is part of life and organizations, how we can navigate them in a way that results in a stronger commitment to one another and the ministry, is important. At this workshop, we will talk about how to address conflict and create a Conflict Resolution Plan. Please register HERE to receive the Zoom link.
Serving a CR/CC can be filled with hope and joy but it can be lonely with its unique challenges. Coming together for mutual learning, sharing, and prayer can be meaningful. We will have the opportunity to participate in a quarterly zoom. One is scheduled for Tuesday, August 17th at 9 am MT. Please register HERE to receive the Zoom link.
