Epworth UMC & The Epworth Foundation Provide Thanksgiving and Christmas Meals to Thousands

This Thanksgiving and Christmas, Epworth United Methodist Church in Denver, CO, and The Epworth Foundation, along with volunteers from the community, are distributing a total of 5,000 turkey dinners. Thanks to the leadership of the MSC Conference Evangelist Elder King Harris, Pastor Vicky Alvarado, and community leaders, many will be able to have a holiday meal. It is a wonderful thing to witness the community coming together: moving food to the packing line, driving trucks and navigating forklifts, packing boxes, taping them up, breaking down boxes, stacking, carrying, delivering, directing traffic, and so much more. All the different ways a group of people can come together and serve the community and be a community.
