The application for the Global Mission Fellows Program
opened up on Sept. 15, 2018. We are delighted to announce that we have over 340 applications in progress or submitted from young adults (20-30) across the world that are ready to answer God’s call to Act Justly, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly
But we still have a great big problem. Only 17
are from the United States.
Somehow, we are failing to reach the talented and called US persons, and we need your help! Can you identify even one young adult in your network that could be a good fit for the Global Mission Fellows Program?
We are looking for people that are passionate about mission and justice. Perhaps someone that doesn’t know quite what God has in store for them in the future after graduation. Maybe someone that you see the gifts for ministry in, but they want to develop their leadership skills before serving in the local church.
We need young people who ask the hard questions about why people are suffering in the world and want to be part of the solution.
We need health workers and preachers. Those who love kids, and those who care for the plight of refugees. We need English majors and farmers.
We are looking for all of these kinds of people.
I know you know someone. Can you help us?
Invite a young person to apply. Send them my contact info if you’d like and I’d be happy to walk them through it as a staff person and as an alumna.
The application deadline is Jan. 7, 2019
. All is not yet lost, but we cannot do it without you!
