On Aug. 4, members of  Gracia Divina gathered in O'Fallon Park near Morrison, Colorado for a day of fellowship, worship, and baptism. The Saturday worship service included prayers and blessings for students and teachers returning to school. Gracia Divina is a Hispanic/Latino congregation in Denver.

Gracia Divina began in 2013 as a Hispanic ministry at the former Alameda United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Guillermo Reyes. It grew into a church of its own in 2016 when the English-speaking ministry at Alameda discontinued and full support went into Gracia Divina. Read about Gracia Divinia celebrating its third anniversary and becoming a standalone Hispanic ministry.

Five years later, the church is still growing, and hosting events like this service in Morrison. For more information about Hispanic/Latino ministries in the Mountain Sky Conference, email Hispanic/Latino Ministries Coordinator Lourdes Calderon at lcalderon@mtnskyumc.org
