Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month. This week, we will be celebrating the ministry of Enciende Una Luz UMC.
Enciende Una Luz UMC has been serving the community in the Aurora and Centennial areas of Colorado for almost 11 years. During the pandemic, with the help of God and technology, we have been able to share God’s love beyond our church walls:
- Weekly Bible Study on Zoom
- Worship on Facebook Live
- Weekly Prayer Time on Phone Conference Call
- Meal Delivery
- Pastoral Care
We are grateful that we have been able to minister to God's people in the area and all over the world. Prayer Time has been a safe space for sharing the blessings and struggles of life. We are grateful to witness healing and hope during these very difficult times. Our Laity are being encouraged and equipped to serve and lead in various capacities.
