Nominees are being sought for the annual Harold C. Knudsen Historic Preservation Award of $500, sponsored by the The Rocky Mountain Conference Historical Society/Conference Commission on Archives and History.
The purpose of the award is to acknowledge the contribution of an individual or group and to emphasize the need for the preservation of oral, written and artifact history of the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church or its predecessors. The award was created to perpetuate the memory and legacy of The Rev. Harold C. Knudsen in his tireless efforts and emphasis upon the connectional history of the Rocky Mountain Conference through the eras of his life. A stipend and certificate may be awarded annually.
