Holy Smokes! First UMC Castle Rock wins at trivia contest

On April 11, the Holy Smokes trivia team from First United Methodist Church in Castle Rock, Colorado, took first at the 11th Annual Trivia Night and Dinner of the Zonta Club of Douglas County. More than 20 teams participated in the event, which raised more than $10,000. The Holy Smokes team from First UMC Castle Rock took home $500 that will benefit the church's children's ministry program.

Other organizations that will benefit from the proceeds of the annual trivia night include Douglas County Task Force, Family Tree, Free the Girls, Hide in Plain Sight, Project Cure, Urban Peak, Women's Global Empowerment Fund, YWPA Scholarship and Zonta International Foundation.
