On January 20, 2019, United Methodists will celebrate Human Relations Day. On this special Sunday, we call all of our churches to participate in helping every one of God’s children to realize their potential. We need your help to continue nurturing at-risk youth, strengthening communities’ self-improvement efforts and advocating for the oppressed.

We have created new promotional material that is easy to use and share to help inspire generosity in your church and community. We make it simple for you to engage your church by using the many social media downloads to post on your social media outlets, select worship music, or download a poster and a bulletin insert to print and insert in your church bulletin or newsletter. Other resources – videos, a podcast and youth activities – help you explore why we give on this special Sunday.

Check out this “Did You Know” video that is featured in the leader and pastor’s kit.

Visit the leader and pastor's kit to download your resources and help celebrate Human Relations Day. Another way to remind your congregation to give generously is by ordering the Human Relations Day offering envelopes. Visit our website to order or call 800‑991‑6011. This year we are offering downloadable posters to print and post in your church and community. The resources are free and available today.

Thank you for your generosity on Human Relations Day. Your gifts will support Community Developers, United Methodist Voluntary Services and Youth Offender Rehabilitation programs.
