Lay leader nominations due by April 10 for this year's election

Two Mountain Sky Conference Lay Leaders will be elected at the 2020 Annual Conference Session in Gillette, Wyo. this June.

Mountain Sky Conference has three lay leaders, with two elected from the Conference at large on the year of General Conference and one elected in the even year after General Conference. Lay leaders chair the Conference Board of Laity, serve on the Conference Roundtable, and are members of several conference-level committees and boards. Lay leaders have the responsibility for fostering awareness of the role of the laity within in the church, the community, and the world.

Nominations for lay leader were held at the 2019 Laity Luncheon during the Annual Conference Session in Billings, Mont. Those nominees and others who are interested in these positions need to complete the Lay Leader Candidacy form and return it to the Conference Office, 6110 Greenwood Plaza Blvd., Greenwood Village, CO 80111 by April 10 in order to be eligible for election.

Candidates will be presented during the Laity Session at Annual Conference. Please prayerfully consider whether you would be interested in applying or whether you might recommend someone for these positions. Please note: there will be no nominations from the floor during Annual Conference.
