May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, also known as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We give thanks to Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander clergy and laity throughout the Mountain Sky Conference for their witness and ministry. This past year, the United States of America, witnessed a growing number of hate crimes against Asians and Asian Americans, a reminder that discrimination and racism not only have been a part of our history but still exist today. Let us celebrate and honor Asian, Asian Amerian, and Pacific Islander siblings across our connection.
