There are two remaining opportunities to participate in 2018 Mission u events. These will take place in Pagosa Springs, Colorado on Aug. 25 and Casper, Wyoming on Sept. 15. Two courses will be offered at each location: Embracing Wholeness: An Earth Perspective for Covenantal Living and What About Our Money? A Faith Perspective. Through the following link you can find descriptions and a video for each course: https://www.mtnskyumc.org/mission_u_studies

Participants have given "rave reviews" of the courses and study leaders:

"Opened my eyes about many things."

"Illuninating, eyeopener."

"Leader used a variety of methods. Kept the day interesting."

"Well-prepared, knowledgeable and professional teacher."

While learning was a highlight of the trip, so were fellowship opportunities, the renewal of friendships, and meeting new people. Most important, perhaps, was how learning can be transformational. Participants remarked on this aspect, saying:

"Remembering care of the earth is a God-thing"

and

"Learned a lot, plan to be more conscientious about money."

If you live in Western Colorado or Wyoming, check out these opportunities to grow through worship, sharing, and learning at Mission u.
