This year, Mountain View United Church is the recipient of the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado’s Force for Good Award. Each year, the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado recognizes a state legislator, a Colorado nonprofit community organization, and a Colorado faith community for their measurable action for radical love and justice during the past year. On Sunday, Oct. 27, Mountain View United Church had a celebratory worship service for being named a "Force for Good."

Mountain View United Church is committed to “Nurturing Beloved Community” through worship, providing mental health and inclusion ministries, and having a focus on social justice. Their building is used every single day through community partnerships. Their network and partnership with various community organizations range from local to national ones. As lifted up from The Interfaith Alliance of Colorado they are recognized as a safe space for people in all walks of life to come to not only to receive support, but to be in community. Lives are transformed here.
