Navajo COVID Relief Project

NATIVE GRACE BUILDING LIVES
Native Grace Fellowship in Cortez, Colorado, wishes to thank everyone in the Mountain Sky Conference--individuals and churches--for your outpouring of support and help during this past year.  The Navajo COVID Relief Project was enormously successful in meeting the need for food, household supplies, hay for families' animals, propane tanks and refills, and lots and lots of firewood.

Now that the situation has stabilized, we are looking to develop an on-going project for ministry on the Navajo Nation.  Native Grace Building Lives will offer home repairs to elders and veterans on the Navajo Nation.  Leaders with construction and remodeling skills will teach young Navajo workers how to complete basic home repair and minor construction jobs.  The goal is to repair homes while also teaching skills that may assist young people in gaining employment.

We are looking for an enclosed, lockable 5' X 10' or 5' X 12' trailer to use as a tool trailer for this project.  If you know of a trailer we can purchase, please contact Jean Schwien 801-755-8616.  (Trailers are in short supply due to backups in manufacturing during the pandemic)
