When the
Steering Committee of the United Methodist Association of Retired Clergy met last month, they became aware of the new
Faithful and Inclusive DVD series study by Rev. Fuqua. Because of the history in UMARC of advocacy for full inclusion and of a deep commitment to study and adult education in Theology and Scripture, that group voted to purchase enough copies of the DVD series so that the resource will be available for loan in each district of the Mountain Sky Conference.
Sample sessions from the
Faithful and Inclusive DVD series may be seen at:

Congregations that which to borrow this resource in each District may do so by
contacting their District Office or Congregational Resource Minister (CRM) or
https://www.mtnskyumc.org/staff.
This new Bible study resource has been sponsored in
Methodism by the
Richard and Julia Wilke Institute for Discipleship, creators of the widely popular
Disciple Bible Study resource which was utilized by hundreds of thousands of church members across more than 20 denominations in many countries.
Members of the Steering Committee of the United Methodist Association of Retired Clergy are Don Messer, Harvey Martz, John Blinn, Linda Gertenbach, Marilyn McGraw, Marla Kauerz, David and Chris Ferguson, and Julian Rush. The UMARC organization has over 200 members including clergy from the Mountain Sky Conference as well as from other conferences in the US.
