Nicole Payne is from Queen Creek, Arizona, and has been a very active member of both the Colorado State University-Front Range Community College Wesley Foundation and First United Methodist Church in Fort Collins for the past three years.

She started regularly attending services and Wesley events at the start of her sophomore year at CSU. A year later, she was employed as a childcare provider in the church nursery. In January of her junior year, Nicole began her service as an intern and student leader with the Wesley Foundation, and maintained that role for the last three semesters of her college career.

Nicole graduated from CSU this past May with a Bachelor of Science in both Equine Science and Psychology and a minor in Business Administration, and is taking the next steps in her pursuit of a career in equine-assisted activities and therapies. Over the summer she accepted the family ministry internship at First UMC in Fort Collins, working with both the children and youth ministries through July.

Presently, Nicole is the youth ministry intern and will be working with the middle school and high school students through the academic year. In addition, she continues to assist the Wesley Foundation as a secretary for the Board, member of the Foundation’s leadership team, and as a liaison with the youth ministry.

Nicole claims the Wesley Foundation and First UMC in Fort Collins as her church home these days and we are proud to have her! Rocky Mountain Conference financial and program support of the Campus Ministry at Fort Collins makes it possible to involve and serve outstanding young adults like Nicole.
