Save the date for the Inclusiveness Conference III on Dec. 6, livestream available
September 15, 2019
The third Inclusiveness Conference sponsored by the United Methodist Association of Retired Clergy and Friends will be held on Dec. 6, 2019 at St. Andrew UMC from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Because the decision to have a Western Jurisdiction Summit on the future of the church on Nov. 15 was just recently announced, this is a new date for the Inclusiveness Conference III. Laity and clergy are encouraged to attend to come together in community and to learn of the most recent developments from groups involved in discerning the future of the church.
Major speakers will be the Reverend Dr. Mark Holland, Executive Director of Mainstream UMC, Bishop Karen Oliveto of the Mountain Sky Conference, and the Reverend Dr. Joretta Marshall of Brite Divinity School. Various "focused conversations/workshops" are being planned and will be announced soon.
Live streaming will be available. Registration information will be forthcoming; the cost is $25. Please mark the date and share it with others.
