The program begins in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, where the Base Christian Communities were founded.
The BCC's represent a grassroots church movement in which members meet in small groups. Primarily from poor areas, they reflect on scripture, as a means of organizing for better living conditions and a more equitable society.
