Summer Mission u Online Presentation "Bearing Witness in the Kin-dom"

June 29, 2022
Study leader and Mission u Dean Kathryn Witte will facilitate a four-week study focusing on how we live out our Christian witness. We know what Jesus would do; so what gets in the way of our own commitment to live out our call to actively live in peace, justice and mercy? We will wrestle with how to live in civility while carrying out our desire to live our beliefs. We are continually reminded that we are driven by the knowledge of the Word and the love of God that empowers us.

The study is offered on consecutive Wednesdays, July 13, 20, 27 and Aug. 3, from 7-9:30 p.m. We invite you to come in from the heat of summer and join us in a cool space where we will engage in meaningful conversations about the meaning and applications of etiquette, morals and ethics. Can’t make all the sessions? Don’t worry, we record each session so that participants can catch-up between sessions.

Participants are asked to read the first chapters of the book in preparation for session one. The Bearing Witness in the Kin-dom: Living into the Church’s Moral Witness through Radical Discipleship book is available on Amazon.

Mission u is a collaboration between the Mountain Sky United Women of Faith and the Conference Mission Engagement Team. Certificates of participation are offered for this study for 10 hours and can be indicated through registration.
