Treasurer Noreen Keleshian to retire this December

July 29, 2019

Thank you to Noreen Keleshian for her ministry!

After seven and a half years of service as Conference Treasurer, Noreen Keleshian has announced her intention to retire on Dec. 31, 2019.

In her letter to the Conference Finance and Administration members, Noreen wrote, “I have recently been doing more planning for the next phase of my life, and this time will also facilitate a smooth transition as the denomination and conference move into the next phase of their lives as well ... it has been an honor and privilege to serve the Conference and its members, and I thank you for that opportunity.”

Noreen has served in her role as Treasurer, Benefits Officer and Director of Administrative Services since July 2012, first for the legacy Rocky Mountain Conference and more recently for the Mountain Sky Conference.

“Noreen has led the fiscal and administrative management of the conference through several transitions. Through it all, Noreen is always kept the financial health of the conference at the forefront, enabling the conference to best serve our local churches,” said Bishop Karen Oliveto. “Please join me in thanking Noreen for her service and wish her well as she prepares for the next season of her life.”

Noreen is looking forward to ushering at Colorado Rockies baseball games, taking piano lessons, and (maybe) exercising more. Please pray for Noreen in this time of transition.

The Conference Council on Finance and Administration is preparing a search for the new conference treasurer. You will be hearing more about this in the coming weeks. Any questions about the process can be sent to CF&A chair, Rev. Kirsten Barlow at pastorkirstenbarlow@gmail.com.
