Camp Hope has been serving campers with unique abilities for the past 40 years! We are looking for volunteers, especially nurses, for Camp Hope! We have many positions that still need to be filled. Camp managers are planning a great celebration this year for our 40th anniversary. The camp is located outside of Fort Collins, Colorado at Buckhorn United Methodist Camp.

We need nurses! The nurse duties involve managing campers medications, providing medical support for tube feedings, and other hygiene procedures. The nurse would also be assisting in providing basic training to our other volunteers with care of the campers. If we are unable to fill these positions, we will have no choice but to close our camp. Please consider helping us out!

We also need volunteers to fill all of our caretaker positions. We strive to have one-to-one support for all our campers. Volunteers should be ages 13 and up and be willing to support persons with varying levels of disabilities. Other positions include: recreation leaders, craft leaders, photographer, and a speaker to provide a bible lesson each day. They can also help campers in down times.

We have two separate weeks of camp this year: July 7-12 and July 14-19. Volunteers arrive a day earlier than the campers for training. This is absolutely the best experience you can have spending a week in the mountains with our wonderful campers. Our campers look forward to a great week where they can be loved and to worship our loving Savior!

Please consider coming and spending at least one week with us! You will get just as much out of this week as our campers — and more!
