The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program, and a ministry of The Upper Room. It is intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. It takes its name from the Road to Emmaus experience described in Luke 24:13-35. Christian adults attend the three-day event which begins on a
Thursday evening and concludes the following
Sunday afternoon. Local inner-denominational Emmaus communities conduct the events. Men and women attend on separate weekends. The men's event will be held
April 26 to 29 and the women's weekend is
May 3 to 6, with both will be held at Big Canyon Ranch, a Christian retreat center near Wanship, Utah.
