Passing of Warren H. McConnell

Rev. Warren H. McConnell was born March 25, 1930 in Geddes, South Dakota and died March 31, 2023 in Loveland, Colorado. He graduated from Iliff School of Theology in 1955 and became an elder in full connection. During his many years of ministry, Warren was appointed to 10 churches in Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado. He excelled in leadership and served each congregation with humility. He had a special skill in sermon composition and delivery. He was active at the conference level and chaired a variety of committees. He was not good at retirement and continued to be active in church work until well into his eighties. Warren is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Lou. He was loved by his family and will be missed by many.
