Countdown to Annual Conference 2022!

Celebratory and Sacred Music with Special Guest, Jorge Lockward

Mission Immersion and Celebration Dinner (with Tug-O-Love)

Laity and Clergy Sessions

Memorial Worship Service

Ordination Worship Service

And more!

In just about a month, the June 16-18th session of the 2022 Annual Conference will be held in Helena, Montana. There is an online option if you cannot make it in person. Each local church should register and provide funds for one clergy member and one lay member (with additional clergy and lay members depending on church size).

Here’s a checklist to prepare for AC:

  1. Complete AC registration (online or in-person) - find information and registration link here. Voter IDs will be sent from GNTV to all registered voting members in early June.

  2.   Book a hotel room – the MSC blocks at all hotels expire on May 16th due to the extremely busy tourist season in Helena - prices will go up and hotels expect to sell-out - click here for all hotel information.

  3.  Look at maps of downtown Helena to find St. Paul’s UMC to familiarize yourself with the area - the Doubletree Hotel and the Great Northern Best Western are within .5 mile of St. Paul’s UMC and walkable. School buses and volunteers will drive people from St. Paul’s UMC to Covenant UMC, and to mission immersion sites on Thursday. Carpools will also be available in hotel lobbies each morning if rides have been requested.

  4.  Meals - enjoy meals on Thursday, included in the cost of registration! Boxed lunches will be provided for the district lunch gatherings, and the Mission Celebration dinner will have 2 food trucks and a dessert reception! On Friday, meals are on your own, unless you register for the special meals.

  5.  Volunteer during Annual Conference - all clergy and laity can offer to drive others to sessions, help at a meal, volunteer in worship, bring desserts for the Memorial reception, or welcome people at the Helena airport! Click here for volunteer opportunities.

  6. Prepare by visiting the AC subpages on the Mountain Sky Conference website - find schedules, what to bring, coupons for Cokesbury, and forms for episcopal and lay leader nominations. Flight and Mileage reimbursement is also posted as a subpage. Click through the subpages under AC 2022 here.

  7. Attend the “Everything AC Q&A” Zoom session on Sunday, May 15th, 6:15-7pm. Bring your questions, hear more about sessions and what to expect! We are here to help you prepare to attend the 2022 Annual Conference. Click the link below to register:
